office 2010 starter. slightly reduced functionality word and excel, and ‘office to go’ usb creator. had ads. only ever saw/see generic microsoft ones. like they never actually tried selling the space to anyone.
came preinstalled on new systems from major oems during a short window between ms works’ retirement and office 2013’s release.
tanked sales of ‘real’ office enough that it was pulled less than two years later and never tried again.
until now.
plot twist:
it was musk’s own interns that did it.
operative krasnov’s handpicked fbi director, and secretary of state, and ag… pushing back on old spice’s asinine and over-reaching ultimatum.
if it leaks shit out of both ends, it must be full of it.

i vaguely remember a health teacher in jr or sr high saying something like that (this would be back in the '80s)… “about 10 percent, that’s the same as at least three of your classmates…” (in that class)…
and then the students kinda all looked around, eyeballin’ everybody… as if they were counting… yup. checks out. one of them blurted out “that’s kinda low, don’cha think?” --this bit is why i remember the class. and she was right. it was low.

amazon does a lot of their own now. even to my little shit town. nearest fulfillment center is in another state, 2 1/2 hrs away.
