Right… And that’s why Costco, which has not rolled back their DEI has been seeing pretty decent growth while Target has been slowly dropping since they started rolling it all back. They’re all lying to us to make it feel like this is a bad thing because they want to get rid of it, even though the actual numbers show the exact opposite. It’s the idea of being louder to make yourself seem smarter. And now we get to watch the economy tank as everyone in charge tells us it’s all good.

This statistic would be higher if people didn’t turn their uncertainty about themselves into hatred for others. It’s not a coincidence that Republicans always get caught doing gay things in secret. And what happens to them by other Republicans when they get outed is exactly why they don’t want to get caught. And if there’s anything I know about sexual repression is that you tend to lash out in other ways. I wouldn’t even be surprised if everything that someone like Musk is doing right now, from constantly having kids with other women to constantly needing to make more money, is because he probably sucked a dick in college and feels scared that he’s not a man anymore. As Sam Altman said a few weeks back, everything he does is from a place of insecurity.
Honestly, the secret is not being a publicly traded company. All the others have to make the shareholders happy while steam just does steam. If the line doesn’t have to constantly go up you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you’re still making profit. And if what you’re doing is already working you don’t need to add gimmicks or advertisements to milk it as much as you can just to appease the shareholders.
And the people in charge that partake in all of those things you’re trying to stop will be caught too, right? If you get our encrypted data then everyone gets yours. None of this bullshit about “security.” Either all of it is available or none of it is. As the argument always goes, “if you don’t have anything to hide, why are you worried?”
