Yes and I fully agree. Online interactions are unrated by PEGI for a reason.
We just defederate.
Communes, to some degree, require alignment on morals and ideas of you do not have a state and a monopoly on violence. Even anarchist communes while technically encouraging cooperation through mutual reliance and that if one does something bad the others can choose not to associate with that individual and not cooperate with them.
Some people take this idea and suggest that alignment based on solidarity of the working class towards each other based on their material circumstances and relation to the means of production is not by itself - enough, and that you need a common “culture” or in the extreme - an ethnostate.
That’s roughly what Mussolini was saying in “The Doctrine of Fascism”, and there are many fascists and nationalists who believe communism is possible only amongst white people, or even just people of the same ethnic and cultural background.
I don’t agree with it, but that’s at least my interpretation of how economic egalitarianism and collectivism can work with darwinist racist views.
If you also do not agree with it, that is why being a “brocialist” is bad, you should of course focus in on the economic matters and be a materialist in all things, but Marx isn’t end all be all of progressiveness and in the modern day if you want to actually be woke - you need to also incorporate intersectionality into your views of social injustices like LGBTQ rights and gender equality and anti-racism, lest you leave that door open all the way to the ‘third position’.
You wouldn’t want to be this silly, would ya?

yawn You really had to throw in your vegan soapboxing in there alongside other valid reasons, didn’t you? Blocked.
A European PA is more like a US NP afaik
And I was downvoted for not knowing about an obscure McDonalds, by a zoo, in literally bumfuck Texas, and the regional and cultural and historical context surrounding that, and the poster above was upvoted for saying that “everyone” knows it from their school trip and used to rave about it, as if the entire population of earth lives in Dallas, Texas, USA, North America?
Holy shit fuck this site so much. Can these sh.it.just.werks “people” just go back to Twitter?
What? What are you even on about? What zoo trip? Where? Who’s everyone? Are you okay?
Latter is better NGL. It’s a fucking food place, not a zoo.
Yeah, tbh Spotify has massively diversified my music taste and even more than that introduced me to literally hundreds of artists I’ve come to really enjoy.
I don’t use the home tab or any public playlists, I make my own playlists out of music featuring my faves, usually grouped by genre or vibe or for highly personal stuff to specific times and events in my life, like an old mixtape of sorts, then I’ll see what’s suggested at the bottom and check those songs out. If I really like it I might listen to more by the same artist or the album the song is from but I’ve never been huge on albums as a medium specifically.
It used to be a few years back that almost all the suggestions were spot on, maybe even better than Google Play Music used to be, but much more effective than the tried and true method of googling “artist/album/song like x”.
A lot of the artists I found that way only have a couple hundred or thousand monthly listeners, if that.
Though lately the recs haven’t been very good.
It gets worse, when I was doing a refine of a Mistral-7B, on both the Linux and windows rigs the default location was somewhere on my OS drive in either %appdata% or some .config/.cache bullshit which stored the entire LLM along with all checkpoints and whatnot.
Nutter. My C drive on windows is a 120GB, all my programs are on my Q drive in software RAID. With Linux I follow the same principle, all heavy files are on a separate partition.
Yeah, the one thing that keeps me on spotify
Yeah? Which ones am I not? Lol I’m not a shitposter wtf?
I’m only banned from communities to do with queerness, socialism, Europe, news, ADHD and politics. I’m a trans woman from Europe who has ADHD, is a socialist (Anarchist) with an interest in news and politics.
My hobbies also include hacking, planes (simming primarily the A320 and general aviation interest), milsims, trains, AI, philosophy, social sciences, history, paleontology (especially the Cambrian and Devonian), music production (DAWs, plugins, synths, etc.), video making (esp. editing), programming, space (orbital mechanics/astrodynamics and astronomy), Unix/Linux/BSD, SelfHosted/homelab stuff, gaming (inc. the culture), macroeconomics, electronics (as in, breadboard prototyping, IoT with pi/arduino, embedded hacking and physics of electricity), flashlights, manga, TV shows (just finished Generation Kill), Star Trek, drugs (psychs mostly), retro computing (C64 and Amiga) and many more I can’t recall rn and I seek out and subscribe to communities on Lemmy for all of them, plus those with differing opinions politically e.g. neoliberal/neocon, socdem, tankies etc.
Is that really so odd? It’s pretty normal to me. I used Reddit in the same way.
I just don’t have insane hivemind opinions, but relatively reasonable ones and voicing any of that (Ukraine right to self-defense, gender dysphoria is a medical disorder treated by transition - not a choice, AI can be useful etc etc.) seems to be a big no-no on some parts of Lemmy.
Anyway this is all extremely off-topic at this point so I’ll probs delete this thread later but I’m genuinely curious why you’d think I’m a shitposter.
Yeah this was true like 10 years ago, now McDonald’s is like Five Guys pricing for way way worse food
