3 hours agoI had been playing for 15 years or so before I joined a band. The trick is to not aim too high, make music that is a bit (but not too much) below your skill level. That way you are able to get the hang of songs relatively easy, which boosts your confidence. From there on you can keep growing.
With both, it also matters how you store it. But like I said, (modern) cassettes are not for HiFi. If I really want to immerse myself in a record, I need the vinyl. The whole experience is just so much fun.
