Tool, always. Propagandhi were also great.
As of now (4.45pm GMT on 25th Feb 2025) I’m the last to comment on this post of a person who (erroneously) believes they are the last of the early adopters of the internet (I’d say there are millions of us).

Most words will sound different every few miles. There are countless regional accents, meaning there is no right or wrong. I’m northern Irish and I say mir instead of mirror. It’s wrong but it’s not wrong, if you know what I mean.

They are wrong though. No meal is more important than any other. It’s different for everyone and pretending breakfast is the most important for all and sundry is just a marketing ploy with no basis is truth.
Peter Serafinowicz is cracking.
My mate thought they were great but I just didn’t get it. Their music seemed really bland and uninspiring. Just non-descript songs one after the other. Usually I leave a gig with some lyrics or chords or something sticking with me. Not with Ladytron. I felt… nothing, nothing but relief it was over. It was just some below average synthpop. There was nothing I’d call a hit, or in any way memorable. It stands out as one of the worst gigs I’ve ever been to, perhaps the worst (and I’ve seen Van Morrison arrive over an hour late and play obscure tracks for 45 mins whilst obviously drunk). Each to their own, but deffo not for me.
I mean, it looks mostly like kitchen implements, cutlery, cooking stuff. Not really useless junk. I have 8 cupboards of similar stuff in my kitchen.
I never have breakfast. The Kelloggs company lied when they said it’s the most important meal of the day.
I agree completely with your first paragraph.
I haven’t thought of this band in years, and just yesterday I was thinking ‘what was that shite gig my mate dragged me to in Liverpool about 20 years ago?’
Very odd to see a post about them the very next day.
Niblings. There’s a word I’ve never heard before. I’m guessing it means niece or nephew. I like it.
