A committee of power conference administrators took significant steps this week toward the creation of a new entity that will govern the evolving professionalized aspects of college sports.

Yeah I like the idea of this, but for top heavy conferences like the B1G, where’s the incentive for them to impose any penalties on the top tier of the conference? Mizzou is gonna wind up on the stake all the time so that alabama can continue to pay for play.
