“More options” sounds very bisexual to me.
Just kidding. Good luck in this dystopian hell, people
I wish I knew the date and context of this. With words like “gay” and “woman” being censored out by the U.S. administration, I imagine that official government surveys might end up looking this stupid now.
I also imagine the possibilty that some biased group is attempting to inaccurately count the number of participants that are/aren’t straight. If they put “gay” or “bisexual” on a second page (after clicking “More options”), they’re creating friction for anyone who isn’t “straight.” That is, not everyone will bother going through another option page - they may settle for “Prefer not to answer” because it’s already right there in front of them. Then when totaling up the answers at the end, whoever’s using these data can simply omit the respondents that didn’t answer. Boom - just like that, it will appear as if a greater percentage of the group are straight. Such easy LBGTQ-erasure.

I see Epic at the bottom of the screen, so this is in some kind of healthcare setting (Epic is an electronic medical record software company).
The previous screen:

I’ve got bad news for you, this wasn’t from RvB.
Your statement is still true independent of the image, however.
What am I remembering this from then?
Didja ever wonder why we’re here?
I, for one, am here because one faithful day, u/spez decided to restrict API access to third party Reddit clients, but don’t let this distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer’s table.
It’s one of life’s great mysteries, isn’t it?

if this isn’t a proposition it’s none of your business
and if it is I’m not interested

I dunno… if the slide-deck was made from scratch just for me bc the person is too socially awkward to know how to “normally” proposition me… I’d at least complete it.
Seems like it’s some sort of digital intake form for a healthcare organization. The answer related to speaking with a doctor had me curious and googling “Epic healthcare” showed that company with matching logo as a healthcare software company.
May be helpful information to share with a doctor but understandable to say no for anyone who wants to confirm their doctor is LGBT+ friendly/trustworthy first before disclosing details.
Epic’s EMR is so widespread in the US that I’m not even American and I know it.
When is the sexual orientation medically relevant?
std test for example
Which diseases can only be contracted if a person has a specific orientation?
The womb is something you need to take care of and adjust your life after… Or so I have heard. Often. Like all the time but it’s interesting
none, but they do have different odds, and more importantly they change the advice the practitioner gives them.
it would be stupid to advice the usage of a condom during anal penetration to a lesbian couple for example.
95% chance you’re going to get that advice regardless.
Reminds me of a copy of a gender selection form, where someone was probably overwhelmed by long words like “heterosexual” (6 syllables!), and wrote “straight” at the “other” option.
Orientation? Forward…
